Seth D Dark, moody, even bleak at times, but always engaging. We need ambient music that challenges us, that unsettles us. It can't all be mountain streams and sound baths (although that's great too!). Favorite track: A Face Drawn in the Sand at the Edge of the Sea.

APORIE Super moody, extremely evocative. Stylistically and sound-wise with a very distinct footprint. Tons of interesting and surprising moments, shifts and turns that still end up sounding cohesive. Favorite track: Ancestral Warning.

Wolfshaegen Intense soundscapes, befitting current times. Favorite track: Good Can Be Radical.

Anthony Childs Some fantastic darkness among well-composed pieces with a couple unexpected and highly effective surprises. A release I'd like to have a physical copy, hopefully this will garner a repress. Favorite track: Hunting Horns.

Hideaki Noguchi With diverse textures and a contrast between harsh, dissonant collisions and meditative landscapes, hissquiet's "Solastalgia" is quite astounding. This is an album that will grown on you, as you will uncover new details with each listen. Unsettling yet beautiful, it feels like there's a narrative with each song--of reflection, of facing truths, and of warnings. I look forward to hearing more releases from hissquiet! 10/10 Favorite track: Restless.
